What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser, so that the site can remember something about your visit, such as a choice you have made, or count how many people use a page. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, work in much the same way, and this policy covers them too.
How we ask for your consent
When you first arrive, a banner asks whether you are happy for us to use analytics cookies. Until you agree, the site sets only the cookies it cannot work without. Accepting and declining are equally easy, and declining does not stop any part of the site working.
You can change your mind whenever you like through the "Cookie settings" link at the foot of every page. Withdrawing consent stops further analytics cookies being set; to clear any already stored, see section 5.
The cookies we use
Strictly necessary. These keep the site secure and remember the cookie choice you made, so that the banner does not return on every page. The law allows them without consent, because the site could not function properly without them.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read, how visitors find us and where the site could be clearer. Its cookies are set only once you have accepted them, and the reports we see are about visitors in general rather than about you.

Other services you can reach from our site
Pabau. When you book online, you move to Pabau's booking pages, and the enquiry form on our Contact page is provided by Pabau too. Both may set their own cookies, which are governed by Pabau's cookie and privacy policies rather than this one.
Instagram, LinkedIn and WhatsApp. Our links to these services are plain links, so nothing is placed on your device until you follow one. Once you do, the service's own cookie policy applies.
Maps. The map on our Contact page is a still image, not an embedded map, so it sets no Google Maps cookies. Only if you choose to open directions will Google Maps or Apple Maps load, on their own sites and under their own terms.
Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies from their settings, usually under Privacy or Security; each browser's help pages explain how. Blocking every cookie may stop some websites working as expected, though this one will still let you read every page and book a consultation. To keep Google Analytics from recording your visits on any site, Google offers a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Keeping this policy current
