Endolift® Body
Endolift® Body is a laser skin tightening procedure for loosened skin on the upper arms, abdomen, inner thighs and knees, carried out under local anaesthetic through a fine fibre placed beneath the skin, with no incisions and no stitches.

Onset
4–12 weeks
Swelling hides the first firming; once it settles, the skin keeps tightening for several months as collagen rebuilds.
Longevity
12–18 months
How far published body studies have followed patients so far; your review is where we look at how your own result is holding.
Downtime
1–2 days
A day or two away from the desk is typical; any bruising or swelling sits mostly under clothing and fades over one to two weeks.
Discomfort
2–4/10
Local anaesthetic numbs each area before the fibre goes in, so the laser registers as pressure and a gentle warmth.
Procedure time
120–150 min
The whole appointment, numbing included: a single area sits at the shorter end, two or more at the longer.
Firmer skin on the arms, abdomen and legs, tightened from beneath
Skin on the body loosens in places exercise rarely reaches: the inside of the upper arms, the lower abdomen, the inner thighs, the skin just above the knees. Weight change, pregnancy and time all play a part. We offer Endolift® Body because it tightens that skin from underneath, usually in one visit under local anaesthetic, and the recovery fits around a normal working week.

How Endolift® Body works
The laser, the LaseMAR1500, sends its energy along an optical fibre that enters through a pinprick opening and runs just beneath the skin. The doctor sweeps the fibre back and forth in a fan across the area, warming the fibrous framework that holds body skin in place.
That warmth is designed to do two things. The framework draws in slightly as it is treated, and in the months that follow the skin is encouraged to build fresh collagen, the source of most of the firming you will see. Nothing is cut and no skin is removed: the aim is skin that sits closer and feels firmer where it had grown slack.

Your skin, assessed first
Your doctor looks at each area you mention, standing and seated, noting how loose and how thick the skin is and how well it springs back when gently lifted. Stretch marks and crepey texture are noted too, because they call for different treatments that can sit in the same plan. Your medical history follows, with a body procedure in mind: medicines that thin the blood, how your skin heals, any surgery in the area, and any plans for pregnancy.

Planned around your year
Bruising on the body mostly sits under clothing, but arms and knees show in summer, so many people book those areas in the cooler months or well ahead of a holiday. Tell us about any date that matters, and we will plan the treatment so the bruising has long gone by then. Where more than one area bothers you, we agree with you which to treat first, and whether two can share a visit.

"Isn't Endolift® a fat treatment?"
You may have read that it is. At ART Clinic, Endolift® Body is offered for one thing: skin that has loosened. What it is designed to give you is firmer skin that sits closer to the body, judged in the mirror and at your review, never in inches or on the scales, and cellulite is outside what it sets out to change.
Keeping to that is what lets us plan it well. You know from the first conversation what the procedure is for, your doctor chooses the areas where tightening will make the difference you want, and your result is judged against exactly that.
Cellulite and loose skin, explained
What each area asks of the plan
Body skin is not the same everywhere. It is thinnest on the inner arm and thicker across the abdomen, and each area moves, bruises and heals in its own way, so your plan is made area by area.
Inner upper arms
What loosens
a soft fold under the arm that shows when you reach or wave, often after weight loss.
What the plan weighs
the skin here is thin and marks easily, so timing around short sleeves matters; where the surface has also turned crepey, polynucleotides can follow.
Abdomen
What loosens
skin around and below the navel that stayed slack after pregnancy or a change in weight.
What the plan weighs
the muscle wall beneath is examined too, since a separation there changes what tightening the skin can achieve; stretch marks are planned for separately.
Inner thighs
What loosens
skin at the top of the inner thigh that has lost its spring and creases when you sit.
What the plan weighs
comfortable, loose clothing for the first few days, and a gap before long runs or cycling.
Above the knees
What loosens
small folds of skin that gather just above the kneecap, often with fine creasing on the surface.
What the plan weighs
both changes at once, since tightening firms the fold while a skin-quality treatment can help the texture.

What Endolift® Body can give loosened skin is a firmer, closer fit on the arms, abdomen or legs, arriving gradually over the months after a single afternoon.
Request a consultationThree treatments weighed against Endolift® Body
Each of these is chosen for skin below the face, and each answers its own piece of the change. Any of them can be planned alongside Endolift® Body.
LPG Endermologie
The Cellu M6 Infinity works over the skin with motorised rollers, in relaxing sessions with nothing to recover from. People weigh it against Endolift® Body when they would rather avoid needles altogether: it is ongoing care for how body skin looks and feels, kept up session by session, where Endolift® Body is a single procedure aimed at looseness.
Biostimulators
Biostimulators are injected beneath loosened skin, where they are designed to start fresh collagen forming, so support returns gradually over a short course. They suit people who prefer injections to a laser fibre, and where skin needs both tightening and support, the two can be planned together.
Polynucleotides for body skin
Where the skin itself has thinned, turning papery above the knees or on the inner arms, a course of polynucleotide injections is designed to support its repair. That is a change in the skin's quality rather than its looseness, so polynucleotides often follow Endolift® Body in the same area instead of replacing it.
Loose skin, thinning and stretch marks often turn up together on the same arm or abdomen. We separate them at your assessment and give each the treatment suited to it, in an order that fits your diary.
Why a laser under the skin is a doctor's work
Endolift® Body combines three things that call for medical training: a local anaesthetic, which is a prescription medicine, a fibre working inside the tissue rather than on its surface, and a sterile procedure in which the depth and the energy are adjusted continually. Skin on an inner arm is a fraction of the thickness of skin on the abdomen, and the settings follow that difference, pass by pass.
At ART Clinic, Endolift® Body is performed by our doctors, to the protocol Dr Priya Verma set and teaches. Dr Priya was among the UK's first Endolift® doctors and counts over a thousand treatments on face and body; she also teaches the technique abroad, for the energy-based device companies she advises as a Key Opinion Leader.

Full price listEndolift® Body: your questions answered
People planning a body procedure usually want to know how it feels, how long they'll need, and what they will see. Those come first.
Does it hurt?
Very little, for most people. The numbing is done with a few small injections along the area, and within minutes the skin goes numb. From then on the laser registers as warmth and a sense of pressure moving under the skin, and your doctor checks your comfort throughout.
How much time will I need off?
Usually a day or two. Most people return to desk work within that time; any bruising or swelling fades over the following week or two, and because it mostly sits under clothes, few people notice. Your doctor tells you when exercise can resume.
How soon does the skin feel firmer?
Once the swelling has settled, in the first month or so, the skin starts to feel firmer, and it goes on improving for several months as collagen rebuilds. Your review, at around three months, is when the result is judged.
Will the result last?
Tightened skin still ages with you, so your review is also where any later step is discussed.
Is one treatment enough?
One treatment per area is usual. If a second area bothers you, it can be planned for the same visit or a later one, whichever suits your diary.
Will it help me lose weight?
Weight loss isn't what it is for. Endolift® Body is offered to tighten skin that has loosened, and it works best on skin that has settled at a steady weight. If you are still losing weight, we can plan the timing around that with you.
My skin loosened after pregnancy. When can I have it?
Once you have finished breastfeeding and your body has had time to recover. At your assessment the doctor also checks the abdominal muscles, so the plan fits what has changed.
Can I have Endolift® on my face and body at the same visit?
Many people plan them a few weeks apart, so that each recovery is simple.
Endolift® Face
Is Endolift® Body suitable for men?
Yes. Men often come to us about loosened skin on the abdomen or chest after weight loss, and the planning is the same: assessed area by area, with recovery fitted around work.
For men
Can it be combined with other treatments?
Often, yes. Biostimulators can add support beneath loosened skin, polynucleotides can improve thinned or crepey skin, and microneedling can soften the texture of stretch marks. Your plan sets the order and spacing.
Who is Endolift® Body suited to?
Adults in good general health whose skin has loosened on the arms, abdomen, thighs or knees. Before planning, the doctor asks about pregnancy, breastfeeding and any blood thinners, looks for a rash or infection on the area, and asks how well your skin usually heals.
Are there any risks?
Bruising, swelling and tenderness are common and settle on their own. Less often, a treated area feels firm or numb for a few weeks while it heals. Anything beyond that is rare, and your doctor talks you through each possibility before you consent. If anything concerns you afterwards, call the clinic.
