Terms & Conditions
These terms cover every consultation, treatment and course of treatment booked with ART Clinic, and they apply from the moment you make a booking.
About these terms
In these terms, "ART Clinic", "we" and "us" mean ART Clinic Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 00000000, with its registered office at 14A Lowndes Street, SW1X 9EX. "You" means the patient. Consultations and treatments take place at the clinic on Lowndes Street, Belgravia.
Booking an appointment, attending a consultation or receiving treatment means you accept these terms, so please read them before you book. If any part is unclear, call or email us before your appointment and we will gladly explain it.
Consultations
Your safety comes first, so we recommend that every new patient sees one of our practitioners for a consultation before any treatment. Some treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and Endolift®, can be booked only after a medical consultation.
At your consultation the practitioner assesses whether a treatment is suitable for you, explains the outcome you can expect, the risks involved and the aftercare, and answers your questions. No treatment takes place until you have given your informed consent.
Consultation fees are not refundable, but the fee you pay may be redeemed against treatment carried out within 6 months of your consultation. If a medical reason means treatment cannot go ahead, the practitioner may, at their discretion, refund the consultation fee.
Booking and deposits
Appointments are made in advance, by telephone, by email or through our online booking system, and each one is confirmed to you by the contact method you prefer.
A deposit secures every appointment. The amount is shown when you book; for Endolift® it is £500. When we reserve a time for you, you have 48 hours to pay the deposit before the time is released to another patient. For an appointment less than 48 hours away, the deposit is due at the moment of booking.
If a medical reason means your treatment cannot go ahead, the practitioner may refund the deposit at their discretion.
Cancelling or rearranging
To cancel or move an appointment, please give us at least 48 hours' notice. A cancellation or change made with less notice, or a missed appointment, means the deposit or consultation fee you paid is forfeited. Where appointments are missed repeatedly, we may limit future bookings.
Your right to cancel a booking made at a distance
When you book online, by telephone or by email, rather than in person at the clinic, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from the date of booking to cancel without giving any reason. If you ask for your appointment to take place inside those 14 days, you agree that the service may start before the period ends; should you then cancel, we may charge for the part of the service already provided, and once a consultation or treatment has been completed it can no longer be cancelled. To use this right, tell us by email or telephone, and any money owed to you will be returned within 14 days by the method you used to pay.
Arriving late
Where you arrive more than 10 minutes after your appointment time, we may be unable to carry out the consultation or treatment. If you are delayed, please call the clinic: we will do our utmost to fit you in, though we cannot guarantee it.
Paying for treatment
Each treatment is paid for in full on the day it is carried out. Prices can change without notice, but the price quoted when you book stays the same for that course of treatment. We accept cash, the main debit and credit cards, and bank transfer.
Treatment packages
A package is a course of treatments bought together. It is paid for in full in advance and stays valid for 12 months from the date of purchase; any session not taken within that time is forfeited.
If you choose to stop part-way through a course, you may not be entitled to a full refund for the sessions remaining, unless a practitioner judges that continuing would not be medically suitable for you. Where a refund is due, the clinic works out the remaining value of the package, at the price you paid for each unused session, less the administration fee described in section 11.
Your medical information
Before any treatment, you must give us complete and accurate details of your health, including any medical condition, allergy, medicine or previous procedure that could affect the treatment or its result. Between appointments, please let us know about any change to your health, your medicines or your medical history. If information is incomplete or incorrect, complications may follow, and the clinic cannot accept liability for them.
Aftercare
When your treatment ends, you will be given aftercare instructions written for that treatment. Following them gives you the best result and reduces the chance of complications; the clinic cannot be held liable for an outcome or complication that arises because they were not followed. Whenever you are unsure about something after treatment, contact the clinic for advice.
Refunds
We do not refund treatment provided in good faith because you are dissatisfied with the result or have had an adverse reaction. Please bring any concern to your follow-up appointment, where your practitioner will look at whether an adjustment is possible.
A request to refund unused sessions of a prepaid package is considered case by case, according to the reason you are stopping and when you ask. Where a refund is agreed, an administration fee of 30% of the amount paid applies.
Your statutory rights
These terms do not affect your legal rights as a consumer. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, any service we provide must be carried out with reasonable care and skill; Citizens Advice can tell you more about the rights you have.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Beyond that, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, but not for loss or damage that could not have been foreseen when you booked.
Children and pets
We treat adults only, and no one under 18 may come into the clinic at any time, including to accompany a patient. Pets are not allowed on the premises, but assistance dogs are welcome.
Complaints and feedback
Every comment helps us improve the care we give, and we are always glad to hear what went well. If something fell short, our Complaints Policy explains how to tell us and what we will do.
Read our Complaints PolicyPrivacy and confidentiality
Your treatment records are confidential and held securely. The Privacy Policy describes the personal information we keep about you, how it is used and the rights you have over it.
Read our Privacy PolicyChanges to these terms
We may amend these terms at any time. A change takes effect as soon as it is published on this page or sent to you, and by continuing to book with us you accept the latest version, so we suggest checking this page from time to time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute about them may be brought before the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
