Endolift® Face
Endolift® Face is a laser skin tightening treatment for the jawline, jowls, lower face and neck, given under local anaesthetic through a very fine laser fibre, with no incisions and no stitches.

Onset
2–4 weeks
Some firmness can be felt from the first day; the change shows more clearly once swelling has gone down, and keeps building for around six months.
Longevity
12–18 months
The span published follow-up covers so far; your skin goes on ageing, so we review the result with you rather than promise a date.
Downtime
3–7 days
Swelling is the main thing to plan around, usually at its most visible in the first few days; many people work from home that week.
Discomfort
2–4/10
The local anaesthetic is the part most people notice, a few quick pricks; once the area is numb, what remains is warmth and light pressure.
Procedure time
60–90 min
The treatment appointment, longer for three areas than for one; one treatment is usual.
Tightening the lower face and neck from beneath the skin
Loosening along the jaw and neck tends to arrive gradually: a softer jawline, the first jowls, a little fullness under the chin that wasn't there before. Endolift® Face treats that loosening where it sits, in the tissue beneath the surface, which is why ART Clinic has made it one of the treatments it is best known for. Many of our Endolift® patients come from outside London, and some from abroad, for the way our doctors perform it.

How Endolift® works
A slender laser fibre, about the width of a few hairs, is passed under the skin through a tiny entry point made with a fine needle. It delivers laser energy at 1470 nm, a wavelength absorbed by water and fat, straight to the layer that has loosened.
Two things follow. The treated tissue tightens a little straight away, and across the next few months fresh collagen forms in that layer, which carries most of the firming. It can also shrink a little fat at the jowl or beneath the chin during the same appointment.

Your face and neck, assessed first
One of our doctors looks at each part of your lower face and neck in turn: how far the skin has loosened, how much fat has gathered along the jowl or below the chin, and whether any lost volume is adding to the heaviness. Then come your health, the medicines you take and what you've had done before, with any filler or threads in the area noted. From that, you agree which areas to treat, and what change to expect in each.

Planned area by area
Endolift® Face is planned in areas: the cheeks, the lower face and jowls, under the chin, the neck. Some people start with one, most often under the chin or the jowls; others treat the lower face, chin and neck together, so that the jawline reads as one clean line from ear to chin. Your plan sets out the areas, the fee and the timing before any date is booked.

"Will it be enough, or will it be too much?"
iv
"Will it be enough, or will it be too much?"
Both worries are common, and they pull in opposite directions. People want a difference they can see in the mirror, and they want nobody to guess why.
Endolift® Face answers both because of how it works. It tightens the tissue you already have and builds collagen within it, so the change is real, measurable in firmness and in the line of the jaw, and it arrives over months, with your features, expressions and proportions left as they are. The result looks like a firmer version of your own face, because that is what it is.

Coming to London for Endolift®
A good share of the people we treat with Endolift® Face travel to Belgravia for it. The treatment itself takes a morning or an afternoon; what makes a trip work is planning the days either side, so here is how that usually runs.
Before you book travel
A consultation with one of our doctors, in person or by video, to assess your face and neck and agree the plan.
What to plan
Book the consultation first. Photographs of your face and neck from the front and both sides help the doctor prepare.
The treatment day
Your plan is checked against your face on the day, the areas are marked and numbed, and the treatment is done. You go back to your hotel or home the same day.
What to plan
Arrive with a clean face, and allow the full appointment and a little time after it. A £500 deposit secures the date.
The first days
Swelling and some tenderness, at their most noticeable early on, settling day by day.
What to plan
Stay nearby for a few days if you can, keep plans light, and have the clinic's number to hand.
Back home
The swelling goes down over the following weeks and the tightening builds over the months after.
What to plan
A review with your doctor once the result has developed, in the clinic or by video.

Step 1 of 6 · Before a treatment date is set
Your Endolift® plan, agreed first
Your face and neck are assessed area by area, together with your general health and every earlier treatment you remember. You and your doctor agree which areas to treat and what each should gain, and you leave knowing the fee. The treatment date is yours to choose.
Endolift® Face aims for a jawline that holds its line again, less weight under the chin and a firmer neck, arriving gradually so that it reads as you, well rested.
Request a consultationThree treatments people weigh against Endolift® Face
Each of these can help a loosening jaw or neck, and each works differently from a laser fibre placed under the skin. Any of them may also sit in the same plan as Endolift®.
XERF
XERF uses heat as well, but as radiofrequency applied from outside, with the surface kept cool, so nothing is injected and nothing needs numbing. It suits looser skin at an earlier stage, in one session that fits around a working week; Endolift® reaches deeper, and can also reduce fat under the chin. ART Clinic offers both, so your consultation can weigh them for your face.
Biostimulators
Profhilo, HarmonyCa and Sculptra are injected to support the skin's own collagen, improving firmness and quality from within over several weeks, with no heat involved. People weigh them against Endolift® when the skin has thinned as well as loosened, and they are often planned alongside it rather than instead of it.
Dermal fillers
Part of a heavy-looking jaw can be missing support underneath: a chin that sits back, or a shallow hollow forming just ahead of the jowl. Filler rebuilds that support, visibly on the day, and Endolift® firms the skin lying over it. When a jaw needs both, they are usually planned as one.
A jawline usually changes for more than one reason at once. Your assessment sorts out which, and your plan matches each to the treatment that answers it.
A treatment placed by a doctor's hand
With Endolift®, the laser works beneath the skin, so the result rests on judgement at every pass: which layer the fibre sits in, how much energy each area takes, and how the treatment is paced along the jaw and neck, where nerves and vessels run close to the surface. It is a medical procedure under local anaesthetic, and at ART Clinic only doctors perform it.
Endolift® Face is performed here by Dr Priya Verma and by Dr Michelle Emett, whom Dr Priya trained in the procedure. Endolift® arrived in the UK with Dr Priya among its first doctors; she has since carried out well over a thousand treatments on faces and bodies, and trains other doctors internationally, as a Key Opinion Leader for companies that make energy-based devices. The technique she teaches is the one both of our doctors use, with the same assessment, consent and aftercare whoever treats you.

Your fee is set at the consultation, once the areas are agreed, and includes your aftercare and review. A £500 deposit holds your treatment date.
Full price listQuestions about Endolift® Face
Most people ask first about the swelling, the result and who will treat them. Those come first here.
Does Endolift® hurt?
Less than most people expect. The local anaesthetic is given first, with a very fine needle, and that is the part you are likely to notice. After that, the treatment itself feels like warmth and a light pressure, and your doctor paces it to you.
How long will I be swollen?
The swelling is usually most visible for the first few days and then eases steadily; along the jaw it can take a few weeks to go completely. Many people take two or three days at home or work remotely for the first week. If you have an occasion coming up, tell us early so the date can be planned around it.
Is it obvious to other people?
Not that you have had something done. In the first days there is some swelling to plan around; after that, the change comes slowly enough that people tend to notice you look well, or that your jawline is sharper, without knowing why.
When will I see the result?
A little firmness early on, a clearer jawline once the swelling has gone, and the fuller result at around three to six months, as new collagen forms. That is why your review is timed later rather than sooner.
How long will the result hold?
Tightened tissue carries on ageing at its natural pace, so your own review is the best guide: your doctor sees how it has held and suggests the right time for anything further.
Is one treatment enough?
For the face, one is usual. Your doctor confirms this at the consultation, and a further treatment, or a different one, is only considered at your review.
Which doctor will treat me?
Dr Priya Verma or Dr Michelle Emett, whom Dr Priya trained in Endolift®. Each has her own fee on the Price List, and you choose when you book.
Endolift® or XERF: which would suit me?
Early loosening, for someone who wants no needles and no days away, tends to suit XERF. Jowls that have properly formed, or a pocket of fat beneath the chin, are where Endolift® reaches further. ART Clinic offers both, and your consultation compares them for your face.
XERF
How is Endolift® different from surgery?
There is no incision, no general anaesthetic and no skin removed. Endolift® tightens and firms the tissue you have, so the result is gradual and your features stay unchanged, with days of swelling rather than weeks of surgical recovery.
Endolift® and surgery, compared
Can it reduce fat under the chin?
Often, yes. That fullness is usually slack skin and a little fat together, and Endolift® can work on both in one appointment.
Jawline & Lower Face
I'm travelling from abroad. When can I fly home?
We plan the treatment date with your travel in mind, and you leave with written aftercare and a way to reach the clinic from home.
Can Endolift® treat the body too?
Yes. Endolift® Body is its own treatment with its own page, using the same laser on loosened skin elsewhere, planned and aftercared separately.
Endolift® Body
Is Endolift® suitable for men?
Yes, and the jawline and neck are what men most often ask us about. The result is a firmer, cleaner jaw that nobody reads as treatment, and the swelling can be planned around a long weekend.
For men
Who is Endolift® Face suited to?
It suits adults with early to moderate loosening along the jaw, beneath the chin or down the neck. Before planning, your doctor asks about pregnancy or breastfeeding, any medicine that thins the blood, infection or skin trouble in the area, anything that slows your healing, and filler or threads placed there before.
Is it safe?
Endolift® is performed by a doctor, under local anaesthetic, through entry points that need no stitches. Most people have only swelling, tenderness and sometimes bruising, which settle over days to a few weeks. Occasionally a small patch stays firm under the skin, or feels a little different for a while, and both tend to resolve without treatment; your doctor goes through every risk with you before you sign the consent form.
