Medical Disclaimer
This page explains the limits of the health information published on the ART Clinic website and how it should be read.
General information, not a consultation
The pages on this site describe treatments and concerns in general terms and are written for a broad readership. They cannot take account of your health, medicines or history, which is why nothing here should be relied on in place of a consultation with a qualified clinician.
Every outcome is individual
How a person responds to any treatment depends on their skin, age, health and lifestyle, among other things. Descriptions of onset, longevity or downtime on this site are typical ranges, and no particular result is guaranteed.
Prescription-only medicines
Some treatments described here, including anti-wrinkle injections, use medicines that can only be supplied on prescription. At ART Clinic these are prescribed only once a suitably qualified prescriber has seen you in person at the clinic and judged the treatment appropriate for you.
Before-and-after photographs
Photographs of patients are shown with their written consent, to illustrate what one person experienced after a given treatment. They are not a prediction of your own result.
Keeping this information up to date
ART Clinic reviews the content of this website from time to time, yet medical guidance, product licences and our own fees and services can change between reviews. Please check any detail that matters to your decision with the clinic directly.
Other websites
Where a page links to a website run by someone else, that link is offered for convenience only. The clinic has no control over those sites and does not endorse or answer for what they publish.
In an emergency
This website and its enquiry form are not monitored for urgent medical problems. If you are seriously unwell or think your life may be at risk, dial 999; for urgent advice that is not life-threatening, contact NHS 111 by phone or online.
Who regulates our practitioners
Any doctor who treats patients here must hold a licence from the General Medical Council, and any nurse must appear on the Nursing and Midwifery Council's register. Both regulators publish the conduct they expect, and can act when it is not met.
What this website says about treatments is intended to follow the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the CAP Code), enforced by the Advertising Standards Authority, and the rules on advertising prescription-only medicines to the public.
